The 2026 Philippine Junior Data Science Challenge runs under the theme “Trace the Pattern, Target the Cure: Advancing Public Health Through Data Science.” Teams work on public health analytics: monitoring disease outbreaks, predicting health risks, improving healthcare delivery, and distributing resources. The challenge asks how data analytics can produce practical tools that improve disease prevention, support early intervention, and strengthen healthcare systems.
